XS508M - Unmanaged Switch 8-Port 5-Speed 10-Gigabit/Multi-Gigabit

The ProSAFE XS508M is equipped with 5-speed copper Ethernet ports: FastEthernet, 1-Gigabit 2.5-Gigabit 5-Gigabit and 10-Gigabit. There is also 1 SFP + fiber optic port with speeds of 1-Gigabit and 10-Gigabit. Each port automatically detects which speed is required for the connected device and ensures the correct speed. Unlike ordinary 10-Gigabit switches that provide only 1-Gigabit connectivity for any device that requires less than 10 Gigabit, the XS508M gives the exact speed required without having to downgrade. NETGEAR 5-speed switch ports can be connected using standard CAT5e Ethernet cables without the need to upgrade to CAT6 cabling. This saves you on cabling costs and reduces your hassle.
